Artist's Comments
When I was in 5th or 6th grade, we had a Medieval Day at my elementary school. I wore a gold dress and was in charge of polishing the silver before the feast. Now, many years later, I'm working at the middle school where my teacher who created Medieval Day now works. So I pulled out the same dress and altered it to be more stately. I added the gathering in the front, the embroidered underskirt and train, and the capelet, which has embroidery and a cut design in the back. Now for this Medieval Day, I'm in charge of teaching the entire 6th grade class how to do illumination and calligraphy in the uncial alphabet. Ah, how I've moved up in the world :B.
Done on the new sewing machine that I got for Christmas. It's lovely. If anyone wants more info on it, please ask. I'll post pictures of me in the dress later with my hair extensions and full makeup  . |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
