Yamauba-san wa Shiori-san wo mitari, bishoujo wo mottari shimashita. Shiori-san wa totemo kowakatta desu kara, koe ga arimasen deshita. Demo, mou ichido iimashita.

"Onegai shimasu, Yamauba-sama. Bishoujo wo korosanai hou ga ii desu yo." to iimashita.

Yamauba-san wa samui koe ni "naze?" to iimashita.

Shiori-san wa "Sono shoujo wa totemo wakai n desu. Shoujo no hou ga Yamauba-san no musuko no Kitarou-san yori wakai deshou. Nagai seikatsu hoshii desu." to iimashita.

Mori wa shizuka ni narimashita. Yamauba-san wa bikkuri shimashita kara, arui te mori wo damashita.

Yamauba looked at Shiori and held the pretty young girl. Because Shiori was incredibly scared, she didn't have a voice. However, she spoke once more.

"Please, Yamauba. It would be in your best interests to not kill that young girl," she said.

In a cold voice, Yamauba said "why?"

"For the reason that that girl is very young. In fact, she's probably younger that Yamauba's son Kitarou. She wants a long life," Shiori said.

The woods became quiet. Because she was surprised, Yamauba left the woods on foot.
